A local builder with an exacting eye.

Greg Kraut Design & Development was founded on a simple premise: building or renovating a high-end luxury home in Fairfield County should be an inspiring, orderly, and rewarding experience.

A longtime Fairfield County resident, Greg brings a rare blend of civic stewardship, institutional real estate leadership, and an exacting eye for residential architecture. Having served in local public office and built extensive multi-generational community relationships, Greg provides clients with an effortless path through the region’s notoriously complex zoning, architectural reviews, and conservation processes.

Through GKDD Design, Greg approaches every home with an organic New England aesthetic: the timeless warmth of hand-cut local stone, native cedar, and authentic millwork juxtaposed with floor-to-ceiling structural glass, airy floor plans, and modern finishes.

Whether constructing a new residence from the ground up or breathing new life into an historic estate, GKDD ensures every home is built with enduring structural integrity and tailored to modern family living.
